Omaha Dining (Millard area)?
Each year my road trip takes me through Omaha to stay for a night in the area of I-80 and S 144th. And every year, my problem is finding a place a few miles from my motel dinner! I tried Millard Roadhouse sometimes … is "ok." Overlooking other places – most websites either did not, do not display prices on their menus online or do not have online comments. I'm looking for advice on the most delicious food and value – a little dinner for about $ 8. Shirley S Diner on 139th Hawaiian Grill China Bistro on U Street to P Street, Great Wall on Q Street and Sapp Brothers on Sapp Brothers Drive (this BIG pot of coffee you can see on I-80 LOL) If you know other places in this area suggest away! I do not mind a local franchise, but would avoid the national chains. Thank you! . What a little closer to I-80 and 144th? Say, a 5 mile radius.
Go to the pit of smoke! Great Ribs and fully integrates into your budget. They are closed on Mondays. Great local food. Smoke Pit BBQ & Lounge 230 S 25 St Omaha NE 68131 OR try Zio's Pizza. Good food and in many places.

In fact, the problem is there are too many choices. When I lived in Talkeetna in 2007, people told me always wondered about the best places to eat. Well, I do not live in Talkeetna now (although I think to move there), but I visit several times a month, and being a food lover, I try all the restaurants. So if you're visiting Talkeetna soon, here is my best restaurant recommendations Talkeetna.
The Wildflower Cafe
Back when I lived in Talkeetna in 2007, the Wildflower Cafe had the best food in town. I was told that the leader was a former "Chief Presidential," the kitchen of George Bush Sr. when he was in the Book White House. I do not know if that was true then, or if it's true today, but their food is exceptional. Like everything else in Alaska is a bit pricey, but I had many good meals here.
The West Coast Pub and Grill
The West Rib Pub and Grill was recently featured on the Travel Channel "Man vs. Food" show, and although I do not have a TV and have not seen this show, I would say that their burgers are good, and you can get very big, if you wish. The West Coast has a beautiful indoor dining room, where you might meet some real climbers, and dining outdoors is also very nice, fenced in, and the main road.
The Talkeetna Roadhouse
If you spend the night in Talkeetna, the Talkeetna Roadhouse is the place for lunch. Be warned that you may find yourself sitting at something like a picnic table with other people, but if you do not mind the seating arrangements possible like this, the pancakes are excellent Roadhouse, like many of their other dishes. I've never had lunch or dinner at the Roadhouse, but the bakery area, I would say that their sandwiches are excellent. Their baked goods are wonderful.
Cafe flying squirrel
If you do not mind leaving the city 4.3 miles, the Flying Squirrel Cafe is my favorite restaurant in Talkeetna in 2010. Their setting is magnificent, far from the zone "Disney Land" of downtown, and nestled in the woods, with two seats inside and outside. As soon as you walk in you will feel the wonderful baked goods and enjoy their open space. Their meals are excellent, and if you come in the evening, the pizzas are out of this world good.
The Denali Brewing Company
Denali Brewing Company is a relatively new restaurant in Alaska, at least in terms of size. These days, they a large terrace which extends to Main Street, and if you're dying to have a beer, you might as well try beer Local.
Kahiltna Bistro
When I lived in Talkeetna in 2007, Cafe Michele was quiet, wonderful little place that very few people off was good for me, but not good for business, and the owner has leased the site on and is now called Bistro Kahiltna. The Bistro has yet wonderful food and a huge new outdoor platform where you can enjoy the sun, scenery and people watching milling around town.
The Latitude 62
I will not say the Latitude 62 is the best place to eat in Talkeetna … is not the best of a long. But if you want a place that is open all year, and "where the locals eat, you may want take a few antacids and get to the latitude. It is on the right side of the city you are driving in, well, the burgers will probably not kill you:).
